Barraza Bajo Sexto Acoustic Electric Guitar Mexican

Barraza Bajo Sexto Acoustic Electric Guitar Mexican Review

Barraza Bajo Sexto Acoustic Electric Guitar Mexican Feature

  • Beautifully Ornate Rosette Soundhole
The Barraza Bajo Sexto comes to you in a beautiful dark natural finish with a slightly opaque gloss finish that allows just a little bit of the natural wood grain to show through. The instrument also has a beautiful Faux Mother of Pearl Rosette and a huge and very decorative white pick guard. The bajo has an extra large bridge attached to the body in 5 places to prevent bridge lifting and to assure the instrument will provide years of service even with the high neck and body tensions that the 12 strings put on the instrument. It has traditional style tuners but Barraza has provided brass gears and steel tuning pegs to last through years of play. It comes to you with a Rosewood fingerboard and 16 quality nickel silver frets that come straight from the factory properly dressed with no sharp edges like you sometime find on cheaper models. The designers at Barraza also knew that while players want the traditional Bajo Sexto look, feel, and sound, they also want the latest innovations built in, so Barraza has included a pickup system with a high quality 4 band EQ, a built in digital electronic tuner, and high and low impedance inputs for your guitar cable. It is 15 inches wide at the lower bout, a little over 11 at the upper bout, and the overall length is just under 41 inches so it will fit in most large dreadnought guitars cases.
